We make applications, letters and cvs to apply for a PrEP job. The jobs that you can apply for are advertising agency, The Warehouse, Banker, Police or your own venture. Where you can be CEO, Secretary, Treasurer, Quality control or a worker. We do PrEP for 2 weeks, and get paid 8 taniwhas (that's what we called our money this year) a day every 2 hours.. We can get a bonus pay but they can also doc pay. We have 2 markets where groups can sale there products. There is mini market where some groups choose to sell and then the big market where everyone sells.</span></span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Poppins; font-size: medium;"><span>This year my job was working in the Warehouse. We got all of the materials each group needed to make there product. The people who worked in the Warehouse started work 1 week more money then everyone else which means we got payed overtime. I really loved working in the Warehouse getting orders ready for each group. </span>When it came to the last day of PrEP the mini market we got all of our money to spend. I had 144 taniwhas to spend at the market. I brought some string art, lucky dips, a paper Christmas tree, calendar, a plant and a bees wax rap. I found PrEP really fun this year and I will miss it next year.</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z3rJpJqxL18/X7rTzkKaBII/AAAAAAAACZ8/6cxJJPqXpiEwzGoeXsapTTwOSKr4G2LpACLcBGAsYHQ/s349/Screenshot%2B2020-11-23%2Bat%2B10.10.14%2BAM.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="349" data-original-width="312" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z3rJpJqxL18/X7rTzkKaBII/AAAAAAAACZ8/6cxJJPqXpiEwzGoeXsapTTwOSKr4G2LpACLcBGAsYHQ/s320/Screenshot%2B2020-11-23%2Bat%2B10.10.14%2BAM.png" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n9YlJYQ_rt8/X7rSpzLrJvI/AAAAAAAACZs/JtY2xdI4dyw9FiIRhHjBucndn_9sHrwuQCLcBGAsYHQ/s555/Screenshot%2B2020-11-23%2Bat%2B10.05.20%2BAM.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="146" data-original-width="555" height="137" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n9YlJYQ_rt8/X7rSpzLrJvI/AAAAAAAACZs/JtY2xdI4dyw9FiIRhHjBucndn_9sHrwuQCLcBGAsYHQ/w521-h137/Screenshot%2B2020-11-23%2Bat%2B10.05.20%2BAM.png" width="521" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eiFBDVgX2Pw/X7rTivrgYmI/AAAAAAAACZ0/Xrof7jUS3XYdUvWQRCWJWVpz3wjcQFZGgCLcBGAsYHQ/s485/Screenshot%2B2020-11-23%2Bat%2B10.09.11%2BAM.png" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="354" data-original-width="485" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eiFBDVgX2Pw/X7rTivrgYmI/AAAAAAAACZ0/Xrof7jUS3XYdUvWQRCWJWVpz3wjcQFZGgCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/Screenshot%2B2020-11-23%2Bat%2B10.09.11%2BAM.png" width="320" /></a></div><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ohZcgvxXpVE/X7rUCGrE75I/AAAAAAAACaA/4mIT-6ZQREsdfKaSyfBBFk0BjKVtyN5aQCLcBGAsYHQ/s259/Screenshot%2B2020-11-23%2Bat%2B10.11.15%2BAM.png" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="186" data-original-width="259" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ohZcgvxXpVE/X7rUCGrE75I/AAAAAAAACaA/4mIT-6ZQREsdfKaSyfBBFk0BjKVtyN5aQCLcBGAsYHQ/s0/Screenshot%2B2020-11-23%2Bat%2B10.11.15%2BAM.png" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><span style="font-family: Poppins; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /><span style="font-family: Poppins; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Poppins; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Poppins; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6574931856305246750.post-6433136901369876152020-11-17T14:16:00.005+13:002020-11-17T14:21:58.412+13:00Iceberg PMI Chart<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Special Elite; font-size: x-large;"> Iceberg PMI Chart</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Special Elite; font-size: large;">For the past few weeks in reading our work has revolved around icebergs. Then we had to writ an explanation on what we think makes a great learner. So hear is my </span><span style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">writing.</span></span></span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;"><span style="background-color: white; color: black; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 18pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">What makes a great learner?</span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 18pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Definition </span><span style="color: black; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 13pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">- A learner is someone who gains skills or knowledge through practising, studying or being taught. </span><span style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 13pt; white-space: pre-wrap;">But to be a great learner is someone who is Committed to their learning, there Organised they make sure they have the right equipment at the right place at the right time. Above all they are Persistent they give new things a go and when they fail they try and try again, they never give up. </span></span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 13pt; white-space: pre-wrap;"><br /></span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;"><span style="background-color: white; color: black; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 13pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">A great learner is committed to their learning, their studies and their work. If you're committed to something like your learning you're willing to make adjustments from where you are learning to how you are learning. For example if you committed to your piece of writing you will finish because you're committed and you want to finish, but if you aren’t committed to the writing you won’t finish the work you won’t care if you finish it. They have to be committed, if they aren’t they won’t finish their work, they won’t listen. They won’t learn. </span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><b style="background-color: white; font-weight: normal;"><br /></b></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt; text-align: center;"><span style="background-color: white; color: black; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 13pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">To be a Great learner you have to be organised for learning. To be organised for learning you have to have the right ejectment, Pens to write down notes, notebooks to write lessons on, so you can look back at it to refresh your memory of what you have learnt before a test.. A chrome or device to write assessments and essays. Another reason why you have to be organised is to make sure you are ready to get to class on time, so you don’t miss any of the learning. For example if you weren’t organise you could sleep in and have to rush to get ready and get to class, but you just miss the class and now you won’t know what you missed, then in a test about that thing you were supposed to learn in that class but you missed that class, so you fail the test.</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="background-color: white; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Lora, serif;"><span style="font-size: 13pt; white-space: pre-wrap;">Now one of the most important things about being a great learner is being persistent. Yes persistent, giving everything a go even if it is new, and if you fail you try again and again until you learn that new thing. This is an important attribute for a great learner. We go into group and answer question about things in the news from around the world. replace the temporary fixture reinforcing the structure, after it
was badly damaged on September 18. </span></p><p class="sics-component__html-injector sics-component__story__intro sics-component__story__paragraph" style="background-color: white; box-sizing: inherit; color: #222222; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.45; margin: 0px 0px 0.7rem; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-family: georgia;">Tuesday morning saw the Auckland Harbour Bridge close completely to motorists for about an hour as wind gusts reached 98 kilometres per hour. Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency has warned that further lane closures are possible if severe gusts continue. So this week our tasks revolve around that. For this task we had to make a trail from our school to Mistletoe bay. Then pick 3 places we will go though on the way there and put a photo of that place and a fact. We also had to find the distant from start to finish, it was 269km from Grey Main to Mistletoe bay in a straight line.</span></p>

My favourite thing to do there is feed the calves. Right now it is calving seasons. They have 500 milking cows so that is around 500 <span style="text-align: left;">calves. To feed the calves we wake up early and milk the cows who have had there calves. Then we take some of that milk and put in a sport of trough with pink teas of the ends so the calves can sucks on them to get to milk. The hardest part is teaching the new calves to drink the milk. You have to put your fingers in there mouth and guide them to the </span><span style="text-align: left;">trough</span><span style="text-align: left;">. I can't wait until the holidays so we can go down there.</span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QlmaLzQ71uM/X11Uq8b9IAI/AAAAAAAACVg/9rt5HrEl2VAuFlvGGuA65pFc5_L_7a7iACLcBGAsYHQ/s203/Screenshot%2B2020-09-13%2Bat%2B11.06.23%2BAM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="203" data-original-width="147" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QlmaLzQ71uM/X11Uq8b9IAI/AAAAAAAACVg/9rt5HrEl2VAuFlvGGuA65pFc5_L_7a7iACLcBGAsYHQ/s0/Screenshot%2B2020-09-13%2Bat%2B11.06.23%2BAM.png" /></a><img border="0" data-original-height="140" data-original-width="328" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Hc9zTkHjILk/X11VKyEOIzI/AAAAAAAACVw/xe7AHILdYPQs9wzw_ZYV6NhMmmA44XCNACLcBGAsYHQ/s320/Screenshot%2B2020-09-13%2Bat%2B11.06.45%2BAM.png" width="320" /></div><br /><br /><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span id="docs-internal-guid-254623d0-7fff-bc5a-fa48-43e46fdd581d"><img height="352px;" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/H_TYpUn8HibVxsykyoI7LetCYQ0GWgHwO3hqe1AFXcJjSf96VeBMNxksMaE0Ez9gA4aXWVy8-K8EO8glI9y9Q8mfKNpB6sOMaeltfd81JBgT9dLJaP5TxUmVjrPGO--cuWLYrJW05w" width="564px;" /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zidBLGd7H-k/X11VdO6MToI/AAAAAAAACV4/gDQ_U_n8NfcFEsj49OzXtT10cnPqa5BYACLcBGAsYHQ/s480/Screenshot%2B2020-09-13%2Bat%2B11.10.25%2BAM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="347" data-original-width="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zidBLGd7H-k/X11VdO6MToI/AAAAAAAACV4/gDQ_U_n8NfcFEsj49OzXtT10cnPqa5BYACLcBGAsYHQ/s320/Screenshot%2B2020-09-13%2Bat%2B11.10.25%2BAM.png" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6574931856305246750.post-41931135336001199942020-09-13T10:32:00.001+12:002020-09-13T10:32:41.026+12:00Netball<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Netball </span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">One of my favourite hobbies is netball. For this writing you need a charter that went on a journey and in the end they would have learnt something. I choose a girl how would let other kids play with her and her friends. Then one day she is the one who gets left out.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: x-large;">Left out</span></div><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-size: large;">On Monday the 2nd of April a 13 year old girl named Alyssa Williams woke to the shining of the sun on her face coming in from the crack where the 2 curtains meet each other. Alyssa was a very tall person with brown wavy hair going just past her shoulders. Slightly tanned skin and crystal clear blue eyes like the waves of the never ending sea. She got out of her warm bed and felt the cold fresh morning air hit her face. She walked to the mirror and started brushing her hair. She then walked down stairs into the dining room where her Dad was sitting on the end chair on the table reading the daily newspaper. Her mum was baking in the kitchen and handed her a plate of four light and puffy pancakes as golden and the sand on a beach. They were neatly stacked up on top of each other with a few cut up strawberries placed neatly on top. Alyssa smiled.<br /><br /><br /><br />One hour later when she was dressed for school she got into her Mum’s small red car, and her Mum drove her to school. Then she walked to her class room where her friends were waiting. There were three, Emma, Oliva, and Hannah. Emma was an average height girl with long straight blond hair reaching down to her mid back, she also had blue eyes like Alyssa but a darker shade of blue. Olivia was the same height and had the same hair style as Emma but only her hair was brown with lighter brown tips, and she had emerald green eyes that sparked when the sun hit them. Hannah was a short girl with dark brown hair reaching just past her shoulders, she also had a fringe and dark brown eye that looked like creamy melted chocolate.<br /><br /><br /><br />The day was wheezing by. It was already 1pm, lunch time. Alyssa and her friends were playing netball on the court. When Sophie, a short, skinny, red headed, freckled girl comes up to them. They all stop instantly and come over to each other forming a line. Sophie in a shy quiet voice says “Could I please play with you”. Alyssa starts laughing out loud “ You think WE would let YOU play with us haha, your dumber then I thought”. Sophie bursts into tears and runs away. Alyssa friends just stand there while Alyssa laughs and says “Come on guys lets got hang out on the field”<br /><br /><br /><br />The next day when Alyssa wakes up the next day she smiles, completely forgetting about what happened with Sophie. She got up and got ready for school. When she got there she walked over to her friends like normal but they were acting a bit weird. Alyssa didn’t think anything about it, but at lunchtime after she had gone to the bathroom she walked over to the court where she thought her friends would be waiting. They were but with someone new. It was Sophie. When Alyssa got to they she said “ What are you guys doing talking to the dumb dumb”. “We don’t like the way you have been treating people lately” Said Emma “What have I done” Alyssa said in the most innocent voice. “ You have been mean about how people look” Hannah said. “ Yeah and not letting them play with us. So today you are being excluded” Olivia finished. Then all three of them pointed away from them, while Sophie was hiding behind them. “You can’t do this” “We just did Alyssa”.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Alyssa sadly walked away and sat down in the shade.. The concrete was cold on her bare legs and suddenly they day didn’t look so bright. The cold wind blowing in her face. She thought about all the times she had been mean to people and found it funny but now she didn’t like it because she was one getting hurt. She watched as her friends played with Sophie and felt so bad a teardrop rolled down her cheek. She was glad when school was over. She went home and lied on her bed. She realised she had to apologise to everyone she had hurt, first thing tomorrow morning. So she grabbed a notebook and wrote down all the names. But that night she couldn’t sleep, she kept tossing and turning in her sheets waiting for the sun to come up.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />As soon as it did she got dressed and had breakfast. Today she decided to walk to school, it was only 10 minutes away. When she got there she stated on her list by the time the bell rang for the start on the school day she had finished the list, except for her friends and Sophie. So at lunch time she approached them on the court where they were playing netball. “What do you want” Olivia said when her eyes caught sight of Alyssa slowly and nervously walking towards them. “ Um uh” Alyssa said “Spit it out” Hannah yelled.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Alyssa took a big breath in and said “I just wanted to say I am so so so sorry for the way that I have been acting lately. I'm sorry that you guys had to put up with it, and I am thankful that you guys told me how I have been acting. It was a wake up call. Sophie I am really sorry for being mean to you yesterday, it probably took a lot of courage for you to ask us if you could play with us yesterday, I’m sorry. I understand if none of you want to play with me again, I get it. But I am trying to be nicer. “Of course you can play with us we just wanted you to be nicer to other people '' Emma said softly. Alyssa grew a big smile that stretched across her entire face. From that day on Alyssa and her friends which now inclined Shopie let anyone play with and they had big games of tag and netball. They never left anyone out again.</span>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6574931856305246750.post-20556550753863251902020-09-01T14:27:00.012+12:002020-09-01T14:29:39.883+12:00Parachute - Science Experiment<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: red; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-large;"> Parachute - Science Experiment</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: georgia;"><span style="color: #ffa400; font-size: medium;">Another science experiment we did in science was making a parachute out of a plastic bag and sting. Our parachute whet down pretty slowly but was not the slowest. It was fun, but if I did it again I would make my shape a rectangle and make the strings longer.</span></span></p>

It is were you make 2 holes in a cup opposite each other and thread a peace of string though them then tie it at the top so you can hold the string like a handle. Then fill the cup with water and then spin it around in a circle.</span></p>
