Activity 1 The More, the Merrier?
WOW! I can't believe that in 1800s they had 7 to 9 kids on average that's a lot. Well I'm already part of a big family of 6 but not any were as big as they were back then.
I think maybe it would be good in some cases but also bad in some other cases.
Good: I think it will be really good to be in a big family because you would have a lot of people play with so you would never be alone.
Bad: You will never get alone time and they will always be annoying you like all the time. I know, I only have 3 siblings and they are all ready the most annoying creatures on the planet.
Over all I think it would be really cool to live in such a big family.

I think I would really want to do this because it is in water and I not so fast at running so using my arms and not my legs will be easier. I can see that it is a team sport so I like being in a team because you can make a lot of friends in your team you also learn to work as a team with your team mates.

Māui and the giant fish
Fact 1: Māui has a Jewbone that his ancester Murirangawhenua gave him and he used it as a fishing hook.
Fact 2: Māui made a fishing line out of flax one night when he was alone and recited an old karakia to give his fishing line strength.
Fact 3: Māui brothers wouldn't give him any bait, so he punched himself in the the nose to make it bleed and used the blood for bait.
Other stories I have heard about Māui is:
Māui and the sun: The sun is not giving light for a long time because the sun just wants to sleep. The people working don't get time to do all their work. Māui trys to stop the sun but now the sun is going for so so long so no one can go to sleep, but luckly for us Maui has gone up again and stopped him once more and made it all fear, so now the sun is up for 12 hour's and down for 12 hour's.

How George made a Glass Horse in the Ferro Lazzarini Factory
How George made a glass horse in the Ferro Lazzarini factory
I am Angelina and I am going to tell you how George made an amazing glass horse at the Ferro Lazzarini factory in Venice.
First he got some very very hot liquid glass out of a furnace. Then he put the liquid glass on a long metal pole, then he dipped it into some cold water to make it less hot.
Next he got some tweezers then he started to mold the horse’s head by pulling a long bit of the liquid then pulled little bits to make the liquid of the mane
I think it looked really easy but it probably was not.
Then he did the front legs I don’t know how he did. While he was doing this he turned the pole around.
Lastly he did the last two back legs then made the hooves by pull the then cut the excess glass of to form the horse tale.
Now YOU know how George made a amazing glass horse at the Ferro Lazzarin factory. Don’t you think it is amazing how he molded the glass.
